Bikes and public transportation:

-Israel bicycle association managed in 2012 to allow uploading bikes on Trains with limitations and from 2013 a special wagon for bikes that Make it possible to load dozens of bikes. works as well in fridays at Jerusalem- Beit shemesh line.

 

-Since 2010 it’s free to upload bicycles on buses for free, to the Intercities buses and light train in jerusalem the preemption is only valid For foldable bikes.

 

-There is no limitation for loading bikes to the carmelit train on haifa.

 

2015-2016 projects:

-Regulate safe parking spots for bikes near train stations and central stations.

-Promoting main bicycle lanes that lead to train stations.

-A trail to upload bikes on city buses and light trains.
