Each section is of the trail is of varying length, terrain ,difficulty, and can be ridden in a day by a moderately fit rider. Each section usually finishes with accommodation in the vicinity if needed.

The routing of the end to end trail differs from the official IBT routing by omitting the Ayelon exit from Tel Aviv, Massada, Ma'ale Akrabim, and Machtesh HaGadol (The Great Crater). These may be added in the future. Other differences between the routing of the End to End trail with the official IBT, are the initiative of the author alone.
